Bereavement Services
Our bereavement services are here for the following:
- late miscarriage,
- termination for fetal abnormality,
- stillbirth
- neonatal death
Our bereavement midwives and a dedicated team provide care and support for women and their families following pregnancy loss from 12 weeks gestation at Hinchingbrooke and 16 weeks gestation at Peterborough. This includes babies who have sadly died after birth.
We will usually care for you in a bereavement suite, where partners can stay too.
Support with registration requirements, information relating to funerals and emotional support through the process is offered.
