The Perinatal Trauma and Loss Service have launched their second pathway, Loss Through Separation in the north of the region. This pathway will be supporting birthing women and parents who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges following separation from their baby within the perinatal period (first 12 months of baby's life). The PTLS clinical psychologists and specialist midwives will provide time-limited evidence-based psychological therapy and midwifery support focused on the impact of perinatal loss/separation on mental health.
