The Trust that runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals has appointed a new Non-Executive Director to its Board of Directors. 

Richard Hannah is a Transformation Consultant with expertise in delivering large scale, complex change programmes and operational Information Technology projects. 

He took up his role on 1 September 2023 and will be Non-Executive Director Champion for Securtiy for the organisation.

Professor Steve Barnett, Chair of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, said: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to welcome Richard to the Trust. he brings a wealth of experience that will complement some key areas of focus for us, particularly our work to procure an Electronic Patient Record system and other digital solutions that support improved patient care."

Richard replaces former Non-Executive Director Gareth Tipton, who completed three terms of service with the Trust, totalling nine years, which ended on 31 August 2023.
