Following the recent news of the global shortage of bone cement most often used in joint replacement surgery, we can confirm that the NHS nationally has sourced alternative supplies which enables our hospitals to continue with our surgery lists for operations such as hip and knee replacements as planned. 

We apologise to those patients who were impacted over the course of the last few days and will endeavour to get their procedures rebooked as a priority.
