Residents, patients, staff and local stakeholders are being invited to attend a public exhibition showcasing the latest plans for the proposed new Hinchingbrooke Hospital as the project moves into the next stage of its planning application proposals.
The exhibition will take place in the Garden Restaurant at Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Saturday 17 October, 10am to 2pm, providing members of the community with an opportunity to learn more about the proposals, view detailed plans and speak directly with members of the project team.
A key feature of the event will be a scale model of the proposed new hospital, offering visitors a visual representation of how the future hospital could look and helping to bring the plans to life.
The event forms part of the project's ongoing commitment to engaging with local communities and gathering feedback as plans continue to develop ahead of a future planning application.
Visitors will be able to:
Deborah Lee, Senior Responsible Officer for the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment "The new Hinchingbrooke Hospital represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create modern healthcare facilities that meet the needs of our growing communities. We are keen to ensure local people have the opportunity to see how the proposals are progressing, ask questions and share their views as we continue to develop the plans. We would encourage anyone with an interest in the future of healthcare in Huntingdonshire to come along and find out more."
The proposed new hospital is part of the Government's New Hospital Programme and aims to provide high-quality, sustainable healthcare facilities that support patients, staff and the wider community for generations to come.
The exhibition is free to attend, and no booking is required.
Feedback received during the exhibition will be considered alongside technical assessments and environmental studies as the project team continues to refine the proposals before submitting a planning application.
