A patient who is both deaf and blind will be talking about her experiences of hospital care at the upcoming meeting of the Board of Directors of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust which runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals.
Janet will be supported by members of the Trust’s interpreting team to give her perspective on what it is like to come into hospital with specific communication requirements.
The Board members will also receive an update on the Trust’s performance against its Annual Plan for 2025-26.
Members of the public are invited to attend the session to hear first-hand how their local hospitals are run.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday 11 November at 1pm in the Learning Centre at Peterborough City Hospital.
The Trust holds Board meetings in public every other month and welcomes guests from local communities to hear first-hand how their local hospital is run.
Once the formal business is concluded, members of the public are invited to ask any questions they have relating to matters covered in the meeting.
For anyone wishing to submit questions relating to agenda items in advance of the meeting, please ensure they are received by 9am on Monday 10 November by emailing: nwangliaft.trustboard@nhs.net.
